Partnering with The Princes’s Foundation for the Built Environment
Working in collaboration with His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales through The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment and associated partners, LTM for Others assisted with the training, design and construction of the new Pavilion in Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
This entailed a three-week program including lectures, field trips, workshops and building exercise aimed at developing an in-depth knowledge both of traditional building and repair techniques while focusing on how these can be applied in the twenty-first century.
Ellon Pavilion went on to achieve an award for Rural Landscape Design (Commended) in Aberdeenshire Council’s 2010 Design Awards held at Haddo House in September 2010.
